Ophelia Susan (that is her middle name)

Is doing really well. She turned 3 in January. She is now about 110 pounds. She is in really great shape. We like to walk to my parent's house every day, at least when it's warm enough to walk. She loves taking walks. Ophie is truly a wonderful, wonderful dog. She is so incredibly sweet. Everyone that meets her loves her.My daughter, Lucy, is now almost 8 months old. Ophie has been so great with her. She absolutely loves the baby, and the baby loves her back. When we first came home from the hospital, Ophie was a little nervous, and she seemed a little depressed. I think she was just confused about her place in the house. Now, she knows we still love her, and we include her in everything. She hates when Lucy cries and loves to give her big wet Newfie kisses which Lucy loves. She truly is the best dog. I just love her so much.

More than one boy on campus stopped and said, "That is the most

beautiful puppy I have every seen!"

We have to tell you that Una has found every air conditioning vent in

the house, and they are her favorite places to take naps (right on top

of them!) which is very cute. She is a champion sleeper! We took her to

see Dr. Rabek this morning, and he was SO impressed with her. He said it

was obvious she had a very conscientious breeder, and that the mother

dog was obviously very well cared for and strong and well tempered. Una,

he said, is a wonderful puppy, and he couldn't be more pleased with her.

They have two other newfs at the vet (Reba and Star) so Una is the

third, and they are very excited about her.

Everyone, I mean absolutely everyone is completely in love with her.

When I tell them she has been with us for just a little over 24 hours,

they are stunned, and then they say whata WONDERFUL job you have done.

We can't agree more. She is a delight, and wonderfully trained and

socialised. We are amazed that in a 9 hour car trip, her first night

away from her familiar home, and then for more than 6 hours on a

university campus (in large public buildings and classrooms, she has not

ONCE had an accident indoors. And she is just as loveable and beautiful

as can be.

Thank you for everything you have done. We love our baby, and she is

completely lovely thanks to you!

She's INCREDIBLY smart.

She is definitely a VOCAL dog!!! We are going to beginning dog training right now to teach her the basics. She's going to be a great dog. She has a great personality and is really funny. She is quickly becoming my husband's dog (unfortunately for Tori). She really listens to him. He plays this game with her that she loves.

I took him to my vet...he's a very healthy puppy, and as of last Monday

he weighed in a 12.5 lbs! I can't wait to see what his weight will be

when I take him next week for his next round of shots. He's very smart,

already recognizing his name, and has learned how to sit, and come when

called, and he is quite the trouble maker...he chews EVERYTHING in sight.

I want to thank you and everyone else again for a job well done on these

pups, I couldn't have asked for a better, more suited addition to my

family-he truly is a wonderful puppy and can't imagine my life without

him.

He graduated

from puppy kindergarten this past Tuesday also, and took 3rd place in the

obedience trials. He will continue his obedience classes this January

(there is no school until after the holidays) and will begin training as a

water rescue dog in June or July.

I would love to buy another Newfie puppy-but I need to wait until

I get my own place. When I do, however, you'll be the person I come to.

Chief is doing great! Actually, I

always get compliments on what a wonderful, shiny coat he has. Not

sure if it's genetics or the "wolfking" solid gold that I feed him.

About a year after I had Chief, we were given a tiny puppy that was

half toy Yorkie and half Chinese Crested "powderpuff." I accepted him

on the condition that Chief would take a liking to him. They've become

best buddies. I get all kinds of comments of having a 130 pound newfie

walking and playing alongside a 3 pound 2 ounce little guy.

The Sterns.

We purchased your black female puppy ( Nana Bear ) about 3 months ago. We drove up from Texas and drove her home. I just wanted to give you an update and tell you that she is just a darling girl. She weighs about 75 pounds now at 7 months old. She just graduated from dog obedience training where she was the favored dog in the class for her wonderful personality. She is extremely attached to me and follows me everywhere. I am now in the process of signing her up for therapy dog training so I can take her into the children's hospital to visit sick children. She is a perfect dog!! Of course, we are now experiencing the piles of black fur all over our house, but she is used to her daily brushing to keep the fur down. She is sleeping at my feet right now just content to be with me. People ask me everywhere about her. They just think she is the coolest dog. Probably because she rides in the front leather seat of my Suburban with a bib with her name on it around her neck and we pick up the kids from school together. Anyway, just thought you might enjoy the update. I keep hounding my husband to send pictures to you because I am hopelessly computer impaired. Well, have a great day!

Taz is a very sweet girl that has a true zest for life. She is doing great and looking good. She is very hard to take good pictures as she doesn't ever sit still! She has taken a very keen interest in our kitties and just loves to pin them down and smell. The cats try not to let this happen but when it does they just go with the flo. She is very healthy and passed all of her health test with flying colors.You should be proud of Taz as she is a real good girl that has great conformation and a super friendly personality.
